Additional Information about Research

Senior Project Examples

Welcome!

The purpose of this site is to provide helpful resources and support for the research process.

Our goal is to have teachers and librarians working towards the goal of educating students to identify, analyze, abstract, evaluate & articulate ideas.  We also want teachers & students to believe that research is a process of inquiry, not merely a process of information gathering.

To ensure college & career readiness, K-5 students must possess a strong research-skills foundation to be successful in middle school and high school.

Research is not an event.  It is about being curious, every day.  Research is knowing how to locate a range of relevant sources and evaluating, synthesizing, and presenting ideas and information both formally and informally.
